House of Poppy Creative was born very soon after the passing of Poppy, our beautiful family pup. My parents adopted her from a rescue organization who saved her from a kill shelter in California. She filled our lives with so much love, joy, sweetness, and laughter. I mean, the way she would ask for more belly rubs by gently hitting you with her paw and opening her mouth while turning her head sideways? Can’t get cuter than that.

Poppy was the most gentle, not-a-mean-bone-in-her-body, type of gal. A super sweet soul who let us know it was time for her to go. While it was one of the hardest days of my life to be there with her until her last breath, she had such a beautiful and gentle passing, going out as quietly as she came in, six and a half years prior.

So why is House of Poppy focused on serving healers, specifically? I have been on my own healing journey for the last several years, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. And I know how grueling the process can be, to take an honest look inward and become the highest version of yourself. It isn’t easy, and I have worked with many healing practitioners and mentors over the years that really helped move me forward to where I am today. Without their help, I don’t know how I’d be functioning, honestly. So this is my way of being able to give back to those that spend their precious time serving others through their own pain and obstacles life has to offer. I also love being creative so this is a way I can blend two passions of mine.
